Ginny Humber organizes Kids’ Day on the River. She returned home to Alabama and loves to garden, play the ukulele, and talk to her chickens in silly voices.

Ginny Humber is a lifelong nature lover, and tries to spend as much of her free time as possible in the great outdoors. She spent most of her formative years in Blount County, and though she went off to explore other parts of the world after college, she is back home and is constantly reminded how special it is to call yourself an Alabamian. This is her first year volunteering with FLFR. She enjoys writing stories, growing plants, traveling to new places, camping, attending music festivals, playing the ukulele, reading books in her hammock, and talking to her five chickens in silly voices.
